its possible but i really doubt it. In order for them to use anesthesia on your dog you have to sign a waiver stating that you know the risks involved. Or at least if they are having a problem with him they should have given you a call to ask what you wanted to do. you pup just might have been exhausted from all the excitment of being at the vet's.
