I have never seen a Yorkie that needed tethering to bond. They are velcro dogs from day one if bought from a responsible breeder who socializes them in their home before placing them. JMHO Crate training is my suggestion..
But, larger puppies like Goldens, Labs and the like do benefit from tethering in some cases---so my sons tell me. I haven't had a large dog except for adult rescues and they could drag me around with the tether... |
