You are exactly right!! Until our laws are changed, this is unfortunately going to continue. I do think it helps to get the word out to the general public, but we need to have our pathetic laws changed. In Ohio, as long as you feed/water an animal every 15-20hrs, you ar legal and there is nothing they can do about it. First of all, that makes me sick, and 2nd of all, how do you prove it? The numerous calls I have made to the authorities have not seemed to make a difference
I get very frustrated but I am going to keep trying- we ALL have to keep trying, and maybe eventually we will see changes happen!!! The important thing is to NEVER give up!!
