It is very good that your hubby was so diligent about keeping an eye on your card info, Farrah, because speed is so important in these situations. You need to immediately notify the company, and stop the card, as you did.
Nothing irks me more than to hear someone say, "oh I never look at my statement, I just have the amount automatically debited from my account every month". These are the people who will have the big problems.
LOOK AT YOUR STATEMENT and if you are online with your credit card and your bank account, you really should be checking their accuracy every few days to help guard against fraud.
