Yes...they shouldn't turn rusty - that could be blood - I would get that one checked by your vet - any excessive itching would send me to my vet just to be on the safe side...
In Chanels case I pretty much knew it was the water and being outside so much that her hair or skin dried out - but I use this Spray on once a week now and it's helped alot...
by the way - it's a LEAVE IN - I usually spray - rinse so it goes thru to her skin - then spray a little more on - it also smells GREAT !
