I use Godaddy for my hosting. I design my own website, using some of there templates, customizing them some. They also have a shopping cart option. Their shopping cart is a little pricey. OS commerce is a free shopping cart but you would have to customize it. Since its a freeware you run the risk of securty holes. But it is a great program. The shopping cart from godaddy is easy to use, it has templates and colors to choose from.
They have packages that start small and can grow with you. I can say that I have used the tech support a few times and found them to be very helpful.
There are a lot of options out there. I have heard good things said about Yahoo web hosting, but I have not used them.
