Tasha was 8 months and Jersey was 1. Most small dogs come into heat later than large breed dogs. I will say this too..alot of times their first heat can be really mild and almost missed or even missed in some occassions. Jersey's first heat was really mild and I almost missed it..she hardly bled and swelled..
