thanks everyone for the well wishes and advice. She ate a little chicken, her favorite, this afternoon so I'm taking that as a sign the antibiotics are starting to work, although she still has a fever. Has anyone else taken a rectal temp on their little dogs? The vet taught me how and it's actually easier than on a baby. I worked in a neonatal icu for years and I was more nervous with my dog than any of my patients! Go figure.
