Parti is a pattern not a color. It should make a dog appear spotted. It works on the base color of the dog. The Yorkie is a Tan dog with a black saddle so the parti gene should white out "spots". I would guess you could get any combination of the colors involved. I am curious how the graying gene works on them or if it does.

I am not that great with color genes so this is a pretty simple example of an explanation. LOL
Maybe our parti/brewier breeders will explain it better. I would love to know the combos.

The brewier has a standard they want for their colors I believe, the AKC parti does not.
