I think the little one would be okay. However, I would recommend that he stay with the breeder if that's an option. This way he is safe & in a comfortable environment & you can start out fresh when you get back from your trip. I don't know about you but long trips tend to stress me out & if you are worring about the puppy on top of that it won't be good for you or the pup.
