Ahhh, I think you probably just need to give him time to mature a little. The fact that your boyfriend got him from a broker is not necessarily a bad thing either. Breeders help other breeders out all the time in this business and I have seen some great puppies sold with the help of a broker. There are good brokers and bad brokers just like there are good breeders and bad breeders.
If he was taken from his litter too early that could be part of the probelm if he had to learn to be independent and comfort himself at a young age. If he was less than 10 weeks when you got him that might be part of the problem or it might not be.
I think yiu shold get a second yorkie because chances wre you would get a cuddler!! OOOOO......don't tell your husband I said that!!
