Don't know how I missed this thread!!!

I am Jodie, soon to be 45. I have been married for 25 years to Gerry and we have a son and daughter, Cory age 23 and Erika age 21. Both kids are still in college at Eastern Michigan University and just moved into an apartment together last month. Gerry is a Human Resource Director and I am a yoga & pilates instructor as well as coaching girl's High School swimming and I sing with a small group at my church.

Sissy is my 1st yorkie and she has been wonderful in every way. We have another dog, Sheena, who is an Eskimo Spitz and 12 years old. She is definitely showing her age and is ornery. She does not play well with others and is not fond of Sissy. Although they no longer live with us, Erika has a 3 year old Ragdoll cat, Princess and Cory has a 1 year old tiger cat, Dexter.

Once the kids graduate (hopefully, April 2007), we will most likely begin to look at relocating. Erika is a polynesian dancer who dreams of dancing professionally at a Luau on the Hawaiian Islands, although her major is literature and Spanish. Cory is majoring in Public Relations and he doesn't want to stay in Michigan either. We have really good friends in Carlsbad, CA and San Diego and love the entire area. Jobs for Gerry would be plentiful and as fitness is all the rage in CA, I shouldn't have a problem either. The rest of our families are not crazy about the idea, but with a major employment change for Gerry and two deaths in the family last year, we are ready to be some place with love and live every day to the fullest. I think Sissy would love to be a beach dog!!
