We live on the Central Coast 45 mins south of Santa Cruz and 2 hrs south of San Fran. I haven't heard of this law reaching this area yet but I know this would be a hot topic. I would consider this area to be pretty green and so there are alot of adoptions thru AFRP and SPCA etc and thru them they always interview,ask where you live and to get permission from land lords if you are renting to adopt an animal. I haven't had experience with animal control so I don't know.. SInce I live on the outskirts of this area many people have alot acreage with land enough for horses and many dogs. Maybe this area does not have as many strays and that is why we don't have the law yet??? GOsh I hope this doesn't come into our area though although I might consider Lucy getting spayed. ( she is not soo small) So with this breeders license, would you have to pay every yr and will they do an inspection as if you were a kennel?
