What do all these initials stand for? I/D--C/D etc. Is this special food you have to order?
My bichon has a tendency for stones also and the vet put her on Methiodol--an urinary acidifier to prevent crystal formation and she needs to be on it for the rest of her life. Has been on it for a couple of years and done great--no stones. I wasn't told that she had to be on any special diet and have feed her whatever food I had decided to feed her--right now she is on chicken soup. |
