I agree with you Michiko. I think it is unfortunate that the dogs have to pay the price for the stupidity of their owners/breeders. I believe alot of these dogs never have a change either because of poor breeding or ignorant people.
I hope that one day they will truly crack down on the people that own and breed these dogs and make sure that it is being done properly so that they dogs don't turn out to be dangerous, through no fault of their own. I wouldn't think owners/breeders would object to this if they really LOVE the breed. If you are ethical, what do you have to hide, right?
My personal opinion, if they were treated like guns...dangerous, deadly weapons, cause c'mon face it, they ARE in the wrong hands...and you had to have a permit to own a pit, rot, etc. Maybe that would help? I don't know....just my 2 cents. |
