I have been feeling awful about some yorkies or any other dogs getting killed or hurt by other breeds. It is really sad that I love any types of dogs and some dogs are suffering in different ways.

This is just my opinion: I feel that putting those aggressive dogs in sleep is not the best solutions. Also I really doubt that it's always their (dogs) fault. I mean those dogs should have been trained not to hurt other dogs or people by the owner. This is the weird thing to me. Those aggressive dogs sometimes put in sleep but then owners don't learn anything from it. I just don't feel right!! Or those dogs get called all kinds of names... vicious dogs.. hmmm.. I don't like it!!

I sometimes visit my friend's Pitball mixed. I bet people would consider him aggressive. He would jump over your head... but he is just an excited happy dog. So when I go, I wear some comfortable clothes.. then do some trainings with him. He loves training.. after sometime.. he behaves a little better. I suggested my friend to walk him much more!! and keep up with the trainings.. It seems like he is getting better and better.

The town I work.. there are many pitball. I think it is because it is low income area that people might have pittballs for protection... Then.. I don't know if they are always educated to take care of their dogs. Then is it really a fault of the dogs that they are aggressive? Sometimes those owners are encouraging their dogs to be aggressive. This really makes me sick!!

The other thing is... that we all have to be responsible about our dogs. It is not that I would be obsessed about protecting about my little girl. I want her to be able to socialize with other dogs.. Then I will try not to let other dogs to attack her. Maybe it is easy for me to say.. but I cannot take the kind of risks.. I am not sure how the attacks happen... then I wonder if I was in the situation... where I would be. hmmmm.. it makes me wonder.. I don't know if I could only blame so called aggressive dog..

I just wish that more pets owners get educated and less animals suffer. Prayer to those who have suffered...

That was my mumbling for a night.
Excellent post by you Michiko, I personally think and believe being a responsable pet owner has a lot to do with their behavior. I, like you, wish more people would train and work with their dogs. We had Dobermans for many years and Gretta and Nicki were the best behaved and so well trained they were a real joy to us and everyone that met them marveled about them. Right now we are kinda in a dilema as we live in a county that is requiring mandatory spaying/neutering , I have posted to the forum several places tonight regarding it. We don't want to have Baby Blessing spayed but now with the new law they are saying we must I know there are many that go along with this new law but many that don't too, I personally feel spaying/neutering should be left up to individual decision and not the government telling us what we have to do on this issue. We have always abided by the laws and never have dissobeyed in them. I just feel it is wrong to make responsable citizens do something like this when it is caused by irresponsable people, is it going to keep them from doing wrong and not following the law? I don't think so. Once again we are being scrutinized for irresponsable and non law abiding people. Sorry for rambling on but thanks to you, your post motivated me in saying what I just did and that is good, thank God we live in a wonderful country where we are able to express ourselves freely. Your baby is so precious and I know you are really enjoying her. That is wonderful you can take her to work if you want to have a nice evening. Thanks again for speaking up and voicing your opinion.
