I think it's just a puppy thing....you know independence!! Sadie would run around like the tazmainian (sp?) devil (as my Dad would call her) There were times she would run so fast I thought if she ran into something she would really hurt herself...She wasn't much of a lap dog when she was a pup...unless she was tired then she would want Mom's lap, or behind my knees if I was laying on the couch...Now I can't get her off of me!!! I love it!! She will stand by my feet and if I'm not paying attention to her she will whine until I pick her up...Don't worry....he will come around...
