I use Frontline Plus and Heartgard on my Golden and my two older Yorkies. On my younger two Yorkies I use Revolution (includes heartworm preventative). I would rather use Frontline and Heartgard on all of them, but the Heartgard is so big for my smaller ones that it takes them forever to eat it. Also, Joey has decided he won't even try it anymore.
I do wait until evening before bedtime to put this on them. That way they are good and dry by morning. I'm always afraid while they are playing it will get in their mouths so I wait until right before bedtime.
