Reese10, after what happened to me last Tuesday (the death of my darlin' Marlee) I can tell you that I would have let them have it but good. I would have not left there til I spoke with a vet before and after the surgery.. They are being irresponsible NOT having the vet give the info pre-op and then giving the post-op instructions. I betcha if your baby has a post-op problem, they will swear it is your fault because "the vet" told you everything to do.
I hope your parents deal harshly with this practice and BTW,, find another vet who will NOT treat their daughter and their dog in this manner.
