We've got a long way to go, also, but after initial troubles we're making some progress.

Don't know if it will work with anyone else's baby, but what started making a difference for us was my starting to brush Bailey when she's sleeping - or half asleep anyway. Even as she woke up or became more alert, she was more tolerant of the brusing. And it seems (a bit early to tell for sure) that she's more tolerant of brushing whenever it's started. Oh, yes - we also give her lots of treats while she's being brushed.

She still fusses about having her chest and the insides of her legs brushed, but it does seem to be getting a little bit better.
