3/8 would be good for now but if you want a bow that will fit now and still work when she is bigger I would go with the 5/8. Scampers is 5 pounds and a 7/8 bow is way too big but the 5/8 bow is perfect and I even used it on him when he was 2 pounds. As for the elastic band vs barrette, it is all a matter of opinion. I have found the elastic bands to work much better and they will keep the bows in the hair better without falling out and will keep the bow centered and even. I would suggest get one of each and see which one works best for you. Alot of yorkies have different hair so what may work for one will not work for another. |
