I wouldn't say it is typical. Some yorkies are very laid back. Not mine but I know they exist. lol
It could very well be he was happy to be out of the cage and getting attention. Yorkies like to be with people.
I don't know how much you know about yorkies but he might only be around two pounds. Tiny yorkies do require more care and supervision than bigger yorkies but if you are prepared for that I say get him.
I would also see if you could take him to your vet and have him checked out before anything is final. |
