I've tried the purina dog litter, too, and either I'm not getting it right, or Max just isn't interested. LOL I followed the instructions to the letter, but Max will not step foot in the box! The purina litter is HUGE, too, the pieces almost as big around as Max's leg!
We're still using the pads, which is working well, it's just expensive.
