I always wear my seatbelt and so does my hubby but.... I dont think that it should be a law that you have to wear them if you are over 18. I think that it should be your own decision.

Also on the other side I have seen people die in car accidents when they were wearing their seatbelt. I had a friend in highschool thats car caught on fire and she couldnt get out bc of her seatbelt, and there were 2 people here that the seatbelt cut off their heads bc of the impact. So I think that in some ways they are safe and some ways not!

When I was in an accident last year the seat belt put a huge burn on my neck but it did go away within a few days!
