If the sign says no dogs allowed, then leave your dog at home or go back another time without the dog if you really need to go to that store for something. To me people make too big a deal about yorkies. Anyone who has a dog, their dog is just as special to them and I for one dont want to go in a store and walk around with boxers, german shepherd, etc all around because I am scared of big dog and so are a lot of others and some people just dont care for dogs, yorkies or not. Not trying to offend anyone here but its just my take on the subject. rules are rules and their for reasons. if your dog is welcome that is good but I dont want other people bringing certain dogs in my house, matter of fact i'm not thrilled with anyone bringing any dog in my house against my will. Dogs need love and attention from its owners but not from everyone else just because their cute. And everyone knows the dogs arent brought into their stores to shop, since they have no idea why they are their even there themselves. Sorry if this offends anyone. its just my opinion like everyone else has their.
I agree, yorkies are no different from any other dog, to certain owners they may be though. I've always had boxers, and the way people on here show their love their yorkies is how much I've loved all of my dogs. Dogs are fine to be left at home, no matter who wants to disagree with me. Everytime I leave my dogs try to follow me out the door, and they run up to the window where my car is and give me the sad puppy look as I pull away. And when I come home you would think I was gone for years vs a couple of hours or a whole day at work. The dogs will be fine though, they can be left at home. Even my dog now, when he was a puppy he would play games and do things on purpose to get me to stay longer (I.E, make a mess in the house so I had to clean it up, right before I walk out the door, so I would be there longer) This went on and on forever. But it goes to showing whose the master and whose not. No dog is going to get suicidal (sp?) if they are left at home for awhile.
