Oh, but there is such a thing and we discuss it here all the time. Tatum has a car seat that sits on the console in the front seat of my Tahoe - it has a strap that hooks to her harness to hold her in if an accident does happen. Do a search here for all the discussions we've had. I won't ride with Tatum unless she's in her seat (had a scary situation with our poodle years ago). Makes me feel better and she LOVES it!
