They want you to think they are whinning to go potty but they are just wanting to be held or sleep with you. The best thing to do is get some earplugs and sleep through it. It's easier said than done but surpisingly, after a couple of nights you can almost ignore the noise, cause your sensories are shot..lol..Crate training does pay off, let me tell you first hand. The important thing is to make sure they know who the alpha is, and it shouldn't be them. If you are picking them up when they whine, they know they are the alpha dog. I promise they do eventually stop whinning at night, you just have to learn to show them you are the boss and just ignore it. |
