How traumatic this must have been for the little fella...and for your mom. I'm so glad to hear that he's doing better now. It sounds like he's definitely on the road to recovery!
Hopefully it won't affect him psychologically, but your poor mom will probably be having nightmares for some time. It must be a hard vision to get out of one's head.
Let's hope that the owners of the attacker do the right thing and pay all vet bills!
