Default Reverse sneeze sounds

When your dog experiences a reverse sneeze episode does it sound as if he/she has some sort of liquid, (phlegm or mucus), in their nasal passages or throat? Bogey has had several attacks when excited since Monday and he sounds this way. He had thrown up a bit of bile Monday morning before the first attack and I was concerned he may have aspirated some of the bile. I spoke with the vet later that morning and he seemed unconcerned since his breathing was fine otherwise. Are these sounds normal?
