I heard a couple of great tips for puppies with an adversion to grooming:

When you're holding your puppy, begin to touch and stroke their paws so that they get used to having their paws touch. This will eventually help with cutting their nails.

Take an electric shaver (with the cover on) and turn it on with the puppy in the room. Do this until your puppy gets used to the noise, and then try to turn it on near the puppy. Gradually get the the point where you can run the shaver (again, with cover on) over your dog's body. This will help them get used to the sound and the feeling of the vibration that comes with grooming.
