She mats really bad, but here hair also seems to break easily when we are brushing it out. Just wondering if I can tell what here adult hair will be like and when to expect mostly adult hair growth. I can already see gold tips poking up through here grey skull cap hair. She's got almost an in of grey roots throughout nearly here entire body and I read that this is an indication of a large quantity of hair.
Also, I haven't been using conditioner on her after shampooing. Does it make a difference in less tangling? I can not afford the really expensive stuff, but we will look around for a quality alternative.
Thanks for your help and Lola says thanks too. She hates having tangles brushed out and we really want grooming time to be a good bonding experience for us!
When Buddy was a baby I used baby shampoo. It was Baby Magic (lavender
plastic bottle) milk shampoo/conditioner in one. No tears also. He smelled
wonderful and his coat was beautiful. It was inexpensive. Good luck.
