For those of you that are looking for a CHEAP ! CHEAP ! way to harness your Yorkie to the back seat, just buy a regular small harness that they should be wearing anyways at the pet store or Walmart and then buy a large nylon dog collar ( about 1" wide ) thats adjustable type & clips to lock and run it thru the harness part above the hook and back out again ,then run the large collar thru the seat belt and clip it together to lock it.

In our RV we harness the carseat to the sofa with a strap running horizontal to hold the carseat in place with them in it and I can see them from where I'm riding. Never , Ever leave them alone, just like kids they find trouble.

Take short trips at first to get them used to the idea of sitting down and riding. They WILL get used to it . You can adjust the length of the large collar so they are comfortable laying down.

I've never had a problem with my two babies I strap up in my grandaughters old carseat, they can't jump out and are safely in place. I also have one of those mirrors they sell in the baby department on my visor to see them at all times.
