 I am glad Buster is going to be okay.
My little 8 yr old yorkie was attacked by a black lab also. The owner had him on a leash but could not hold on to him. He grabbed my little Kramer before I could get him picked up all the way. I had to have Kramer put to sleep as the bite severed his spinal cord. I was devastated to have lost my little Kramer like this and I was right in my own neighborhood only a block from my house.
I waited 3 days to call Animal Control because I was so upset and because I waited, they said that all they could do was give the owners a warning. The owners did pay the medical bill and gave me $650 towards the purchase of another puppy.
I still have nightmares of my little Kramer suffering. I'm am so happy that Buster will recover but feel bad that he had to go through this. |
