When you say a crate, what do u mean exacty? Is it like a cage they are kept in all day. It's just I will be out at work and I dont want to leave her locked in a crate all day.
Also do you know if yorkies tend to chew on furniture, skirtings etc. I am worried about this.
Do you think it will be ok to leave her in the kitchen during the day, and leave puppy pads down for her. Then try and train her to go out.
I am really worried I am going to do it all wrong. How many yorkies do you have? What are there names ?

Hi, I have one male, he is called Tino and he's just turned 6 months old. He doesnt chew any furniture or wood.
A crate is something that looks like this:

Its personal preference if you want to use one. We used it till he was about 3 months old. You could leave yours in the kitchen, with the crate in there and let her go in and out as she chooses with the potty pad either in the crate or in a corner of the room.
For the first 3 months we kept him in the crate overnight so there was no accidents but he sleeps in our bed now and he's brill.
