Sophie did have times were she did not want to use her leg at all. I worried at first but then thought the same thing maybe it is tired or sore. Or she would wake up some mornings and not want to use it but as the day would go on she would start to use it again. I would continue to do what you are doing and watch it. I did ask the vet about sophie and he did say that that is ok for her, but it was also a check up so the vet did check her leg.
