She sounds like my little Alex, a big ball of energy. After she has the surgery she will not feel much like running for a few days anyway. Alex laid around for a day or two and then started walking one day and then running the next, but you must really discourage it. I would put him in his crate at night when I slept and would let him out during the day as long as I was in the same room and could keep an eye on him. In other words, just keep a closer eye on her than you normally would for about 8 weeks. No rough playing, running, jumping, etc. After a couple of weeks she may seem totally fine BUT she will still be healing. Don't let that fact deceive you. Also, don't forget to shower her with lots of love and affection.
