Shoot yeah those post out can be really handy. You just get enough links to cover the amount of space that you want her to have free reign. I got one for cheap in Target. The spike is spiral and digs down into the dirt and you can choose a 5, 10, 15 or 20 foot tie out that attaches to it. The good thing is that it's also weather proof so it wont' degrade or rust. I paid about $7 for everything in total. Lex likes to chew so a piece of rope with him would be very dicey.
