Help Hi guys,
I am not too sure if I am putting my questions on the correct part of this site.
I am looking for some help and advice from you all as you all seem to be very experienced people in looking after little yorkies. My boyfriends mum has 2 little yorkies, Roxy and Roddy, they have had a little pup (only one as the other died) And I am now going to be a mummy as I am to have the little pup.
I dont know where to start. I have spoke to different people i.e friends/family who have had yorkies but I just don't know where to start with the house training. I have read some of the info and you talk about crate training, can you explain what this means? Also someone I know used newborn nappies with their puppy, they would never do the toilet in the nappy so kept it on at certain times and took it off to go outside, has anyone heard of this ????? I live in a flat and will be at work during the day so will most probably leave my puppy in the kitchen, should I leave down puppy pads for her ? Some people have told me not to as this makes it harder for them to realise to go outside to do the toilet.
I am just stuck as to what to do, I wont get my puppy until July so I am trying to get all the info I can beforehand so I am prepared.
Also is it a good idea to let your puppy sleep in the room with you ?
And how many times should you feed your puppy?
I have so many questions. I hope someone can help.
Thanks Guys!
