I have a seven year old female, Jasmine, that weighs 7 pounds and she is with a breeder now breeding to a 4 pound stud. She had a false pregnancy the first go round so I decided to try it again. I by no means ever want her to accidentally hook up with Jake. I figured it would be easier on him with the surgery and her being away until Saturday. He can rest more that way because he won't have anyone to frolic with. I know I have made the right decision by neutering him.

I'm not a Breeder, but I think you made the right decision to have him neutered.
You really wouldn't want him to hook up with your female.
