We have a choc lab who was 8 when we got Tucker. They get along really well and love to play. Rusty is the most gentle dog you could ever meet. That said, I would be very concerned about a lab puppy and a yorkie together. Lab puppies get so big so fast, and I would worry about him hurting your yorkie from just wanting to play with him. How big is your yorkie? Tucker is 9 pounds of steel, and sometimes I worry he is playing too rough with Rusty. They have loved each other since day one, though. |
