I started using ceramic bowls, because they have nicer patterns and are more colorful. I used to use stainless steel ones, they both are easy to clean.
The only reason why I use these types is because I heard that plastic bowls will make their noses pink becasue they rub and rub and their coloring comes off. I don't know if this is true, but I don't want to risk it
