We left for two weeks in Hawaii when I had Sissy two months. My original plan was not to get my puppy till we returned so I wouldn't have to leave her, but fate saw otherwise. It was a very hard two weeks. Two special friends had her each for a week. I called every day to check on her and carried her photos with me!!
The last two weekends we have traveled, my friends have not been able to take her, so she was boarded at the "Canine Hilton" at the vet's office. It was incredibly difficult to leave her there. Fortunately, I have since met another yorkie owner who lives very near me and we will watch each other's babies when the need arises.
