well so far the purina litter has been a waste because kenny likes to EAT EVERYTHING..soi am puttinga puppy pad in it..i was using paper..but the SMELL
. He took to it right away ..its been two weeks and thursday he started standing half in and half out 8 times out of 10..i dont know why. but then he started playing with the pads..after he pooped of course so now i have the pads taped in until my Wiz DOG(puppy toilet) type thing arrives next week from target .com.
u may want to get some wee pad drops or spray to attract the dog at 1st to the pad..even though they are scented sometimes the dog needs more.
i would love to use something other than pads..but again he puts everything in his mouth.
good luck..do a search on litter boxes in the forum..others use them.
