Years ago, when we got our first Yorkie, my husband was not interested in small dogs let alone ones with "prissy" hair...
The only reason we ended up with a Yorkie was he found out they do not shed. He was however concerned that if anyone he knew found out we had a "prissy" dog, he would have to put a "rainbow" bumper sticker on his truck and he was not having any of that...
After bringing him home, my husband fell head over hills in love with our boy. He carried him on his arm around the house and they watched westerns on the weekends all day together. Then this past April, we lost our boy just a few days before his sixth birthday from a tragic accident.
Within 48 hours, my husband surprised me by stating he wanted not only another Yorkie but make it two!
So, we will be picking up our two new babies in less then two weeks. The whole family is excited!
