Hi Chel,
That would concern me too. Sophie never put her leg down for a good week to week and a half. At first the vet told me it was ok for me to not give her the pain meds because it would let sophie feel good and want to do to much, which is why we stopped giving it to her. She did not show any signs of being in pain so we stopped. The vet did stress that she needed to lay low and I feel she did do that. If I saw she wanted to get up and wanted to play I had chew toys around and I would give her one and she would lay and chew on a bone or bully stick. It would keep her busy and before you knew it she would be sleeping again. But I keep the chew toys for those times only. Good luck and before you know it she will be all healed and happy. Sherry
