When I first started talking about getting a Yorkie, my husband was very against. He was going on about how yappy and nervous they tend to be. He did want to please me though so a few months later we got Twinkie.
In the beginning he was a bit distant and now, 6 months later he says he cannot imagine his life without her. He bathes her, takes her out for long walks and is absolutely crazy about her.
Of course Twinkie is NOT yappy or nervous and proved him completely wrong.
I guess some guys need time to adjust and change their perspective about Yorkies.
