Hey gang,
Hope everyone is doing well... Jazz is doing well. Her spirits are wonderful, she has been eating pretty good and resting... I took her back to the specialist office today to say goodbye to "Big Red".. (This was her red soft cast from hip to toe)... They said she looks good, and the inscision looks like it is healing nicely. They did not put a new bandage on her & the stitches don't come out until next week, so now the fun begins....

I know I really have to watch her good to make sure that she is not licking or chewing.. I hate to use the E-Collar as she is just miserable in it... but I will if I have too..she has been good about leaving them alone, but I am not letting her out of my sight at this point. I am sure that her leg feels different today as she doesnt have the support from the bandage, but once she starts wanting to use that leg a little, she is gonna want to scoot around... She will just need to be confined as this is best for her...
Jaime, I am going to go get one of the front back packs as you suggested... I can see how that would have helped tremendously... Thanks!!
I know we have a road ahead, but I have learned so much by chatting with you all and reading other threads... Thanks friends...
