When babies come, the puppies will have to leave the bed for the human babies and I don't want to depress the dog (a post I read on this site from someone who experienced this). So, we're trying everything we can to love our pups but not spoil them, which in the end will hurt them. That post said to love and treat your dog like a dog but make sure it knows it's place in our house...otherwise it'd be too spoiled and expect ALL our attention. That other dog from a fellow yorkietalk person got so depressed and wouldn't eat or look at them when they had human babies. | Yes, consistency is the key so if you do have plans of having babies and will take them to your bed, you better not start it. It was easy for me because I am done conceiving . So when I got my second yorkie, it would not be fair that she be in a crate and my Tiger with us . . . I got a few weird looks from my husband the first night but now . . . everything is cool!
Good luck on your baby . . . btw, did your mom every sew you the bands |
