That made me feel SO good!!! I was not sure what to expect. She has eaten today, which I was hoping for as she is barely 3lbs now... and is doing alot of resting... She has Big Red".. a red soft cast from hip to toe and it is very clumsy for her to try to get around as it is very long.
I noticed at the top of the cast where it is hitting her shaved skin the cast is really irritating her and raw. I have been putting some cream on that area to try to lessen the irritation for her
.. Poor baby...I bring her back on Friday for a bandage change and see where we go from there. I saw the XRays and she has 2 pins crossways right below the knee cap. They looked HUGE in the XRay.. Kinda freaky... How do the pins stay in those little leg bones... amazing!! Thanks to everyone for your emails, thoughts & prayers. I just LUV this YT place, I only wish I had met you all sooner... God Bless and will chat soon... Oh, I attached a couple of pictures of my girl... The first 2 are very recent 10 months...and the 3rd was taken when she was about 4 months.. She is a little thing....
