Hi and welcome. Sophie had legg perthes disease and had surgery just three weeks ago. Sophie also had some baby teeth and they pulled them at the same time. Sophie will be a year in June and her teeth were in there pretty good. But I was amazed at how well she did. Her teeth never bothered her and wanted to chew on a chew toy immediately. The doctor told us that it could take up to six weeks before she would start using the leg. But it took two weeks and runs everywhere. She is so much happier now even the vet commented on a post check up. She must have been in pain, which I feel terrible about. We are so proud of her. We will wait a little longer and then set a appointment up to get her spayed.
